If you check the world of letters,painting,musics,movies or any other arts, you will see he is right. Because pain is something inimitable. We can laugh in a fake way but we can't shed tears in the same way. Pain brings us closer to our pure face. That is why it effects us unconsciously.

     Orfeas Peridis is a Greek songwriter-singer whom I have listened recently. He started his music career as a songwriter. Then  he thought he could sing his own songs by himself and he did it. His guitar is his main instrument. For him, guitar is something beyond an instrument. According to him, a nice song can be distinguished by singing it with only a guitar. Guitar creates a different atmosphere in his songs. He usually use a few different instruments like violin or buzuki. You can clearly hear the harmony of guitar and other voices.

     Orfeas Peridis cites us about love,something about life or a fairy tale in his songs. You can always find a sadness in his songs but this sadness is not a is not a pain which clutters you. This is a sorrow which you want to have. This is a sadness which you can find in classics. It is an entertainment of nobles. An other feeling when I listen to his songs is loneliness. When I listen to him, firstly I remember all nice memories in my heart, then I want to go sailing to somewhere I don't know by leaving everything behind you. Finally, I arrive somewhere I find myself lonely.

    As you listened Orfeas Peridis doesn't have a pretentious voice but he affect us with his simple voice somehow. He shows us that it is possible to  create a great effect on listeners with a simple voice. It is not something easy dear friends. It is only  possible on condition that singing with his soul. If you noticed lyrics or subtitles the meaning of songs are very meaningful. He uses nice words with a modest manner. This pattern makes him an outstanding troubadour. I wrote troubadour because he defines himself as a troubadour differently from "singer".
